Born from the ritual.

Short bio — Formed in Strasbourg in 2019, White Ritual is a French darkwave and electro-rock quartet signed to darkTunes Music Group. Ethereal female vocals and feral counter-vocals meet sharp synths, cinematic guitars and powerful live drums. Following the 14-track debut In & Out (2022), the band expanded its universe through In & Out Remixes, Crosses and Ritual Lust in 2025, then collaborated with Kylreez on Furious Passion in February 2026. White Ritual joins the official Castle Party Festival 2026 line-up.

White Ritual crystallized around founder, composer and producer Ricardo Gomes — known as zNo and formerly frontman of the metal band Absurdity — with Coralie Setan, Cédric Belzunce and Nicolas Brehm. The project’s dual-vocal DNA places Lily’s luminous, melancholic melodies against Ricardo’s harsher textures, driven by electronic production, guitars and live drums.

The songs explore abandonment, love, death, desire and belief through a modern visual language of occult symbolism, dystopian cinema and urban nightscapes. Rather than reproducing eighties gothic clichés, the band builds a present-day sound that connects darkwave atmosphere with darksynth momentum and rock impact.

White Ritual’s live identity is designed around contrast: sensuality and abrasion, fragility and force, programmed depth and organic performance. That range gives the band a natural place on dark alternative, electronic, synthwave, gothic and electro-rock bills.
