The band
White Ritual: darkwave from Strasbourg
White Ritual is a French darkwave and electro-rock band from Strasbourg, Alsace, signed to darkTunes Music Group. Founded in January 2019 by Ricardo Gomes (zNo), the quartet brings together Lily (Coralie Setan) on vocals, Cédric Belzunce on guitars and Nicolas Brehm on drums.
The White Ritual darkwave sound blends ethereal female vocals and harsh growls, sharp synths, cinematic guitars and live drums – a modern alternative to 80s gothic clichés, inspired by Killing Joke, FKA Twigs and Chelsea Wolfe. Read the full story on the About page.

What is darkwave today?
Darkwave is post-punk’s nocturnal twin: cold synths, melodic bass, and vocals that sit between chant and confession. It overlaps darksynth, coldwave, EBM, and electro-rock without freezing in an 80s museum.
White Ritual works that crossroads from Strasbourg – album narratives like In & Out, singles such as Crosses, and a live set built for clubs and festivals. Go deeper with Coldwave vs darkwave vs EBM and What is darksynth?
