About the single
A neon plunge into the upside-down
Crosses is the October 2025 darksynth-leaning single by White Ritual, the French darkwave / electro-rock band from Strasbourg. Official chronology on the About page dates the release to 10 October 2025; Spotify and darkTunes Music Group list the same date for the digital single (1 song).
Site and label framing describe pulsing synthwave basslines, hypnotic retro keys, and a haunting vocal presence. The About chronicle places the cut under Carpenter Brut and Blade Runner reference points â a darksynth plunge rather than a frozen 80s museum piece. Terra Relicta (13 October 2025), as quoted on About and the What Is Darksynth? guide, called it « a neon-soaked plunge into the upside-down » â dark, seductive and electric â and filed the band as a French darkwave / dark-synth act.
In the catalogue timeline, Crosses follows In & Out (2022) and the 2025 remix album, then opens the late-2025 single lane before Ritual Lust (7 November 2025) and the 2026 collab Furious Passion (feat. Kylreez). The official video lives on the darkTunes Music Group channel and is linked from the Videos hub; live setlists document the track in the band's stage order (see the Live hub).

Why Crosses is the darksynth doorway
Darksynth lane
The darksynth explainer names Crosses as the clearest doorway: neon bass and occult framing inside a living darkwave / electro-rock project â not a pure instrumental synthwave rebrand.

Debut In & Out remains the full-length centre; Furious Passion leans synthwave collision with Kylreez. Crosses is the darksynth blade between them.
