About

Born from the Ritual

White Ritual is a French darkwave and electro-rock band from Strasbourg, signed to darkTunes Music Group. Dark electronic atmospheres, powerful guitars and darksynth textures shape the band’s sound. Founded in January 2019 by Ricardo Gomes — former vocalist of the metal band Absurdity and composer/producer known as zNo — the group brings together four creative forces.

Blending ethereal female vocals, harsh growls, sharp synths, and cinematic guitars, White Ritual forges a ritualistic universe of gothic and electronic depth. Their lyrics explore the tensions of human nature: abandonment, love, death, desire, and belief.

Drawing inspiration from Killing Joke, FKA Twigs, and Chelsea Wolfe, the band offers a modern alternative to 80s gothic clichés — in tune with the present moment.
